Hannah Art

Every piece is a tender reminder of God’s perfect love for each of us.

The concept behind Hannah art was inspired by the stirring of the Holy Spirit, who started prompting me to create textured art in 2023. I embraced this calling fully in 2025, amid seasons of doubt, confusion, and many challenges.

I determined that if I am going to be obedient to His call, it will be to honour and glorify the Lord by creating art that inspire and remind people of God’s everlasting love and faithfulness. My hope and prayer for my art is that it will encourage and touch hearts, one piece at a time.

Orange Blossom

The subtle elegance of the Orange blossom rendered in textured strokes, reflects the quiet yet profound presence of God, offering a reminder that even in life's simplest moments there is sacred beauty. The textures of each stroke mirrors the layers of spiritual growth - soft yet resilient, delicate yet deeply rooted in faith.

2 Cor 2:15 | For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved.

Ocean

Being in proximity to the sea is so often the best imaginable place to be. The magnificent call of the ocean lures us to a place of wellness and oneness with nature.

This is also where Jesus spent most of his life – near the Sea of Galilee.

Thousands of years ago He drifted off to sleep on a boat sailing this very sea, most likely knowing that a violent storm was brewing on the horizon.

When the storm hit them, His disciples frantically watched their little boat being swamped and called out to their teacher in desperation, questioning whether He cared that they were about to die…

But the One who made the wind and the waves and weaves all our days into songs and whispers of praise… He isn’t really sleeping. He is biding His time. Waiting for the crescendo of the storm to rattle our faith and cause us to fully focus on our Saviour - the One who calls each star by name and gives us night and day.

Calmer seas still point to His glory just as the raging ocean around us prompts us to seek His face. He is Lord of the weather and the waves, and Lord of the quiet place.

When it feels like He doesn’t know or He doesn’t see me, amid every mess, I remember Peter on the waves and the question that he faced:

“Why did you doubt me?”

Forgive me. As the waters covers the earth as far as the eye can see, and as the sand on the shore is just too numerous to count…so I know that your mercy can never run dry, and I will always be the apple of your eye.

Habbakuk 2:14 | “But the time is coming when the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

Forest I

A Time for everything

Here on the damp forest floor, footprints etched into the rich brown soil

Time pauses and plays, dancing in the swirl of the leaves as they fall

Oblivious to the meaning of it all

I contemplate the path of life just like an ancient king once did

The most splendid of them all

Solomon robed in all his finest

Knew the times were appointed

Like age old trees steeped in knowledge of days gone by

Standing through times of enlightenment and times of fear

Futures far away and destinies near

He knew that in it's time the Creator would make it all beautiful

So as the tree trunks around me stood still

I stand in awe of His works and colours that only He can fill

Of an Eternity planted in a broken heart

Rooted in His Grace

And nothing will prevent it

From falling perfectly into place.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) | “He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time...”

New Wine

New wine was created as a reminder that when you allow God to take hold of your life and to develop in you the character He created you to have, that you become the new wineskin and it allows Him to pour new wine (blessings, open doors, new opportunities) into your life.

An old wineskin (old way of thinking, old habits, character and mindset) will not be able to hold the new thing God plans for you and you will crumble under the weight of it, if your character isn't made strong enough to carry it.

What God has planned for you, He wants you to keep and not to lose out on due to you not being strong enough.

Luke 5:37 | "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined.”

Autumn

He changes the seasons

There may be a million different reasons

Why you seem to be stuck in this season

Holding patterns in your mind

Converge onto holy ground

But the winds of Grace

Comes to give lasting change

You may be careful of stepping into a slower pace

Of watching greens turn into auburn and sunlight fade…

But in the waiting and in the change

He is allowing you to enter His rest

Learn to let go as the leaves fall

And trust that He still controls the timing of it all

Isaiah 40:8 | "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."

Daniel 2:21 | “It is He who changes the times and seasons…”

Storm I

While creating storm, I was reminded of how Buffalo would run directly into the storm and not away from it. They know when charging toward it they minimize the time spent in harsh conditions.

This is a reminder to face life's storms head on rather than running away from it.
