But in a new season, God stirred something deeper: a calling to express His truth and grace through colour, texture, and movement. What began as a whisper of obedience has become a sanctuary of Spirit-led art, each piece carrying the fingerprints of faith and the story of becoming.

From my heart to yours

Welcome to my digital studio! My name is Lindzey and I’m excited to have you here! This website is a place where passion meets purpose, and I want to encourage you to stay a while, explore and find something that speaks to you personally. I would like to share my story in short, in the hope that it will encourage you to follow your dreams, and to take that first step of faith into your calling. First and foremost, I am proud to be a daughter of our King. I am 42 years young, living in sunny South Africa, wife to my husband of 18 years, mother of a 7-year-old, and privileged to be a daughter to both my parents who are still alive and well. As a hairdresser by trade for the past 24 years, I never imagined the world of art would be a possibility for me. Creating, inspiring and working with people and emotions are part of my day-to-day passion as a hairdresser. Yet here I am, being called to this new chapter of creativity in my life - plunging in and seeing where the waters may take me. Creating abstract textured art and mixed media was something that I fell into very quickly. I soon realized that being able to lose track of time by just creating and letting the inspiration flow, was what my soul needed most. Most of my inspiration comes from life’s events and the seasons I had to go through and grow through to become the person I am today. My process of creating every piece, starts with a colour or an emotion. I will dwell on it for days, sometimes weeks, researching it and contemplating it's meaning. I will then start creating, sometimes multiple pieces at a time, and further inspiration will then flow from the process. My work evokes the senses in different ways such as physical touch and an emotional reaction, that is meant to awaken something within. Ultimately, I am living proof, and I hope that my art can confirm it, that it’s never too late to follow your passions and step out in belief. Just like Hannah did, when she held onto her faith and prayed day after day for her miracle. And God honoured her faith and brought her dream to life.
